Balloon Sinuplasty In-Office

Balloon Sinuplasty is now available to eligible patients at Latorre Sinus Center, under local anesthesia. Dr. Randall Latorre will recommend the best approach for you.

Benefits of Balloon Sinuplasty In-Office

  •  Local Anesthesia. Balloon Sinuplasty In-Office is an option for patients who decline or are ineligible for general anesthesia.
  • Fast Recovery.  While recovery time varies with each patient, most patients who undergo the in-office procedure can return to normal activities and work within 2 days.
  • Comfortable Surroundings.  Experience the procedure in the comfort of your physician’s office rather than a hospital operating room.
  •  High Patient Satisfaction.  The majority of patients who had Balloon Sinuplasty In-Office would recommend the procedure to family and friends.
  • Potential for Significant Cost Savings.  Some eligible patients may have lower out-of-pocket costs if the procedure is performed in a lower cost of care setting, such as a physician’s office.

Get Relief Today

Balloon Sinuplasty is a safe and effective endoscopic medical procedure that can bring you relief from your constant symptoms of Sinusitis. In our offices located in Tampa and Trinity, this medical procedure is done under local anesthesia, a benefit to patients who do not usually respond well to general anesthesia.

Balloon Sinuplasty Process

The procedure for a Balloon Sinuplasty is very simple and very gentle. To open your sinus passages, Dr. Latorre will introduce a thin inflatable catheter into the area.

It will then inflate to gently push the walls of your nasal cavity open. When the sinus opened, the fluids inside can now be drained. Dr Latorre may use irrigation at this point to help flush out the mucus and pus. While inflated in your nasal cavity, the mechanism is gently restructuring the walls to ensure permanent relief. The medical procedure is now complete, and the catheter will be deflated and removed.

Now, you will be able to live life breathing clearly and experiencing the sinus relief you’ve always wanted.
